Who can open an account?

Anyone can open a SpartaPay account, regardless of age or financial status. Top

Are there any monthly fees for the service?

Can I still use a SpartaPay account alongside my existing credit and debit cards?

Yes! SpartaPay simply offers another form of payment for goods and services at SpartaPay merchants. However, with SpartaPay you get all the benefits of risk-free payments and none of the risks and charges associated with traditional credit card systems. Top

What charges do I pay per transaction?

Using SpartaPay to pay for goods and services from a SpartaPay merchant is absolutely free! The only time you will be charged for a transaction is when sending funds to a non-SpartaPay account (i.e. Bank account) for which we charge only 15p. Transfers to other SpartaPay accounts are free of charge.Top

Will I receive a statement?

No. A statement can be copied from the website for your records each time you want this. It is free and you can access your account information on your PC or mobile device. Top

Where can I top-up my account?

SpartaPay accounts can be topped with cash at any Bank or Post office branch. Cash can also be paid into your account at any SpartaPay agents around the country. If you have a bank account, funds can also be transferred from this but if you make the payment at a bank it may take up to 3 working days to show in your SpartaPay account. If you make a payment from your bank account online however, the funds will be available immediately. Top

How do I withdraw money from my account?

You can withdraw funds from your account at any SpartaPay agent or withdraw funds to a UK bank account (make take up to 3 days) for only 15p per withdrawal! Top
